The End

“Gud ebenin’ peopwe’s of Equestwia, we hab a gweat announcement to make!”
[The Royal Stablelot messenger about to tell the people of Stablelot of the Royal Wedding between Jasmine Doe-StrongWing and Vaastu Joymim]

[2 years after Pandemon War]

I still couldn’t get the hang of it, this “Slow” dancing! I nearly fall on the ground and Emily let’s out a slight giggle, speaking.
“‘Ou’ww get dah hang of it Daw! How about we take a bweak?
I speak, feeling mad at myself.
"Otay, buh stiww daw needs to keep pwacticing. Dis am dah futuwe empwess’s weddin’ whewe tawkin’ about! If I make mysewf wook wike a foow…
Emily gives me a warm smile and looking at it make me feel better, I speak again.
“Daw shouwdn’t be gettin’ dis stwessed, it’ww onwy make me wowse. Thinkin’ about goin’ fo’ a wawk awound?”
Emily speaks, us leaving the empty room we were in.
“Suwe, it’s an incwedibwe day out!”
Making our way to the exit of the still under construction Dutchy residence, I felt a quiet realization pass over me. “This is our home now” It seemed like only yesterday when we arrived, the area being nothing more than an empty plains. But with the founding of the port, the arrival of the first few settler families, and the beginning of construction of this place, I knew that I’d spend the rest of my life here.

Once we made it to the large wooden door we were met by a pleasant surprise, Master of the Estate Aubrey. She was looking over a schedule when she saw us, speaking as she goes over to us with a wide grin.
“'Ou two am done awweady!?”
Emily pats Aubrey on the back, speaking.
“Whewe just goin’ aout fo’ a bit. How’s ebewyone doing?”
Aubrey speaks.
"Wip, Bewta, dah chiwdwen, an’ Mawia am aww doin’ weww. An’ fo’ dah sewbants, ebewyone seems to be in gud spiwits. Actuawwy Aubwey thinks dah six of them weft not to wong ago, pwobabwy at dah beach again. "
Emily speaks, with Aubrey going to hold open the door.
“Gud, see 'ou in about an houw.”

Making our way down the path into the young port town of Edsel, it was a nice sight. Around a dozen or so homes, with a few medium sized ships down at the harbor, near the market. Entering the town it’s people waved to us as we made it towards the beach, us giving warm greetings as we finally made it to the beach. On it I saw Emily’s brother Lip, her mother Maria, Lip’s wife Berta (A light purple Pegasus with a blonde mane) And there 2 children. (A Pegasus colt named Epi ii, him having a light red coat and blonde hair like his mother. Than you had the earthie filly named Fia, her having an ocean blue coat and light gray mane) As we walk down they notice us, the foals who were playing before running out at us and shouting in unison.
“Auntie Emiwy, Uncwe Daw!”
Ww go in and give them a hug, Emily speaking as we do.
“Emiwy knew she wouwd find 'ou hewe, how am 'ou two doing!”
Epi speaks first, sounding quite mad.
“Daddeh won’t wet Epi go in dah wawa!”
Fia responds, sounding condesending.
“That’s 'cos it’s to dangewous bwuddah, am 'ou dummeh!”
Epi gives a mad look and I turn to see Berta, Lip and Maria make it to us. Berta speaking as she looks down on her foals.
“C’mon nu fite nao! Ggh what am Bewta goin’ to do wiff 'ou to?”
Maria speaks as she looks at us, her now much more winkled and gray.
“Su how’s pwactice going?”
Emily speaks.
“Emiwy wiww tawks about it on dah beach.”

Once we go to sit down, things were going well. With Emily, Lip, and Maria all in a circle talking to each other. And me and Berta playing toss games with Epi and Fia, it being pretty intense (I had to win!) After an intense match we all sat to catch our breath (Guess who won!) As we sat Fia turned to me and spoke, sounding curious.
“Hey Uncwe Daw, do 'ou mind if Fia asks 'ou something?”
I speak.
“Of couwse, anythin’ 'ou wan.”
Fia speaks.
“Am it twue that ‘ou an’ Auntie Emiwy actuawwy went on aww those adbentuwes Daddeh tawks about? Dey seem su unweaw… An’ when Fia tawked about wiff some othah kids dey cawwed him a wiaw!”
I speak.
“Weww go to those kids an’ teww them dey am wwong! Those stowies 'ou see am aww twue, aww of them. Eben got dah scaws to pwobe it…”
I show Everyone one of my scars on my arm and they all look at it, I speaking once they pull back.
“Who’s up fo’ anothah game?”

We go for a few more rounds with even Lip and Emily coming to join us, I was just about to throw the wooden ball at Lip when Epi spoke, pointing out towards the water.
“Wook!”
I go to look, seeing what Epi was pointing at. A massive wooden ship was coming into harbor, I myself had no idea if it would even be able to fit. But still I knew what type of ship this was, it could only be one thing. I speak.
“It’s a Twibaw migwation ship, peopwe headin’ to Pandem- Madanak.”
Epi looks at me confused, speaking.
“What am it doin’ hewe?”
I speak, giving my best guess.
“Am guessin’ dah powts at Nickew City am awweady fuww.”
With extreme caution the ship docks, and passengers begin getting off. My prediction was correct 95% of the passengers were Tribal’s, with them holding on to all the possessions they could carry as they got off to there new home. As we continue to look Emily speaks, seeming a bit down.
"Y’know of Chawwes wight, my Woyaw Guawd fwend?
Both Epi and Fia nod, Emily continues.

“Weww he am a saiwow, wobed it. It kind of weminds me of him…”
I speak, beginning to feel down as well.
“Yeah… I wondah how he’s doin’ nao?”
Emily speaks, giving a smile.
“Pwobabwy wibin’ his best’ wife.”
I smile and Emily speaks again.
“How about we head back, I pewsonawwy am stawbin’.”
With that we head back home, the only issue being the the amount of Tribal’s making it hard to walk. But once we do make it back, we eat a quite scrumptious lunch and I and Emily tell some childhood stories.

After that we go back to slow dancing, doing it for hours and hours. Me only showing slight improvement but still no where near good. I speak, feeling frustrated.
“Daw just isn’t nu gud at dis!”
Emily wraps her arms around me, speaking.
“Nu wowwy hun we nu hab to weabe fo’ a few mowe days, 'ou wiww get bettew!”
I speak, Emily’s words unexpectedly putting tears in my eyes.
“Fank 'ou sweetie. Daw knows how impowtant dis am to ‘ou, an’ thought I couwd mess it up. Daw needs to stahp wowwying, I think that’s dah issue!”
I get back up and we both start practicing again, this time without me worrying. Like having an arm tied behind my back untied I seemed to have improved tenfold, able to do the dance without mistake for the first time ever! After finishing practice me and Emily head off to bed, lying down nearly exhausted. As I was about to go to sleep Emily spoke to me in a soft voice, sounding as though she wanted to ask me something for awhile.
“Hey Daw, Emiwy was thinkin’ about something? I nu know if it’s dah wite time but-”
I interrupt, holding her hooves.
“Can teww Daw anythin’.”
Emily speaks, her face somehow both a mix of happiness and sadness.
“Y’know since my bwothews foaws wewe bown, Emiwy has fewt somethin’ gwow inside of me. Wike bein’ wiff them, habin’ fun, an’ actin’ as dewe aunt has been such a tweasuwe. So -”
With only a second of hesitation Emily continues.
Daw do 'ou think it’s time we hab a babbeh?” Fin

I still wrapping my head around that the next part of this story will be it’s last… Thank you for reading my story, I hope to have the ending done in a few day’s to a week, and of course constructive criticism is appreciated. May you have a good day!
