Lil Champ is found only days before death, and despite everything, his daddy still loves him. Seeing the foal in such a state only reminds him of their first greeting, hand raising the foal, and all of the trouble that lead to him getting this wonderful new job. This doesn’t mean Lil Champ is happy.
Now knowing that he’s in fact disabled, and having been almost abandoned just because he reacted, the fluffy grows to be a quiet and reserved pet. Daddy does end up getting his new Woofy, the rambunctious puppy themed fluffy only seeming to depress Lil Champ more and more. Too Terrified of the Sorry Box and death, he stays quiet, even trying to hold back his tears as Daddy sets up a flashy toy. Seeing himself and his ‘brother’ in the little paper, noticing how pathetic he looks with only one leggie, how happy his brother looks…
It’s not a happy life. but he’s alive.
So! I saw @OtherCoraline give the ok to Boop to redo the ending and thought that I might give it a thought; tried to follow OCs fluffy tutorial as well so- I just, honestly couldn’t see a happy end for Lil Champ, despite that being what everyone wanted, so I figured that a neutral He’s Alive felt best. If this goes against rules or anything I’m more then willing to delete it,
