Siblings learning to disregard a shitty parent is something I’m interested in with fluffies. This has been a breath of fresh air so far.
I’m surprised the owner went the longer route of rainbow dying Coffee rather than the simpler method of brown dyeing Bestest - he must really care about them.
Since Ariel has previous form of killing unwanted babbehs and the care the owner has towards them, I’m also really surprised that she has free interaction with Bestest and Coffee and wasn’t immediately put into something like an immobilisation board or a farrowing pen.
Like to see the owner taking his time too make the foal repair their brother relationship showing them how awful their mother is.
Never seen a mare behaving like this, we all know the choosing “bestest bebbeh” behavour, but now is taking to the extreme. Showing how the mother is capable to choose a new bestest babbeh inmediatly and how she used to had other foals but killed them for not be pretty enough. Or at least to the like of her standars, she even choose an excuse to say to his new bestest bebbeh like the old one was bad because he was blue like the water, and water is bad so he is a bad babbeh.
It fits very well with the toy/collectible item nature of the fluffy, making it part of their mindset; cool color=valuable
It’s worst than you think - she kept Coffee around for toilet duty, but still killed his two other siblings, so they must have been prettier than Coffee but not as pretty as Bestest.
Petal is a sociopath of a fluffy, only valuing her babbehs for their worth/utility to her.
Sometimes when it comes to parents, they can be pieces of shit and for a lot of kids they don’t have a lot of people to rely on
But when it comes to siblings, Sometimes they have the best interest for you sometimes they don’t, but a lot of the time you always gotta rely on your kin to have your back
While I appreciate the message, the owner admitting that mum has killed other children and she still has all her teeth is a massive mis-step in pet ownership.
Yeah, that is his fault on his end. Maybe he was just too trustworthy. That’s the best explanation I can give and I’m not criticizing you BFM owners just have high expectations when it comes to pets
