The booru would tell you to go kill yourself over even the slightest spelling mistakes. It didn’t actually generate good content because “It separated the wheat from the chaffe”. It got worse content because the anonymous commenters demanded the same garbage content over and over. A well done sadbox story or great hugbox art never got the response of “Yet another Justified abuse where the mare is a bitch, the bestest is fat and spoiled and there’s always a poopie babbeh that’s always the sweetest, kindest, smartest fluffy that gets taken home and given a good life”. There was a significant amount of the same old, same old repetitive content because that’s what got the most responses.
FC isn’t perfect. There’s a lot of really bad, low effort story posts recently. But the quality is way, way up from the booru days.

If it’s not illegal and is actually about fluffies I think anything should be allowed. The ‘I find this morally offensive’ train is one that picks up speed fast and then you find out the emergency brake snapped off at some point.

It feels like a ‘racism’ tag would work wonders except lets be real here and I know this personally from having lots of contro posts, nobody blacklists tags and lack the self accountability to do so. They’d still complain and nobody would have the heart to tell the dumbasses to go fuck themselves.
