On the "Cultural Sensitivity Training" proposed by Goomy...

Agreed. What kind of worthless retard cant stand people speaking their minds? The type of pathetic posers who censor others. Absolute scumbags and the lowest of the low. If you’re offended by words you’re just a retarded faggot and i reserve the right to disregard you as human. If thats you, you’re so weak you arent a person and your opinions go in the trash with your bloodline (since you thankfully wont be bleeding)

The video says some kind of squash-like Bisque.

Good question, what kind of person would call anyone that disagrees with them a worthless retard?

I mean, that’s just silly.

With the theory of infinite universes, there is a reality where a forum of racist stories discuss if the content about fluffies is too much and if they should remove it from their platform. it is not criticism, it is a moment of dissociation, I found it funny.

@Star-The-Alicorn Man, nobody here is “punching down”. Making an unfunny, crude joke in bad taste isn’t “punching down”. That’s commie ideobabble. Stop being a fucking champagne socialist and talk about things that matter.

@Baron_Trump I honestly think a follow-up to that thread was unnecessary. Furthermore, while I agree with everything you said in your opening post, it could have been said in a much less combative tone. People tend to care more for tone than for content, so it’s important to make what you say presentable to them so that they’ll actually read the content, rather than just rejecting the whole thing on its face.

The only exception to this is if you are utterly convinced that your reader(s) are beyond reaching and so no amount of effort is worth being wasted.

This whole debate is starting to disintegrate my braincells.

May I ask what the stance on representing fluffies as some sort of stereotype is and why it’s being done in the first place?

I’m genuinely asking since I don’t get it.

At this point it’s nothing more than site members arguing over what has neither happened yet, nor is in their ultimate control.

Same.

From what I can gather, some people got offended about something, and then some other people got offended about something, and now everybody’s offended about everything.

So, standard Internet stuff.

I’ve heard! I’ll see if I’ve got a ripped copy somewhere.

ETA: pirated, not ripped. Excuse my blunder. I’m elbow deep in stupid fucking acrylic yarn. Alas, it’s the shade I used to repair my ancient teddy bear, so I can’t just toss it out.

I find the fluffy turned into a human quote on quote racist caricature the only uncomfortable thing personally but that’s about it really.

My only guess is that it’s (hopefully) made to make fun of the caricature/stereotype itself but it’s still kinda off-putting and could be misunderstood easily.

For the swearing part, yeah, Everyone should have the right to do so as long as it’s not used to actively harm someone and that’s against the rules anyway.

Other than that, saying “one day there will only be hugbox” is just… Fear mongering? Is that the word for it? Anyway, it’s absurd.

In this case it’s very difficult to please everyone, nearly impossible even.

Let me tell you guys something that my therapist told me at some point.

“You can’t expect others to change for you but you can change your outlook on things” and “try to understand other people’s perspectives on things” was the gist of it and it worked out great for me.

Let people swear and make fun of racist things and they won’t feel the need to do more of it to prove a point which will in turn make such uploads less frequent.

If there’s a real problem (bullying) which the mods haven’t noticed because they have a lot of work to do, then report it.

Otherwise stay clear of that content if it’s not your thing and blacklist tags associated with it.

That’s all the advice I can give.
