Pink Pet Foal is another early series that Carpdime did back in the day, showcasing a young foal waiting to be bought. While unrelated, one can see this series as a possible continuation from The Last Baby.
I also like to think this foal is consoled with a hugtoy later.
This really goes perfectly together with the Last Babbeh. Breeders saw the foal at the kibble, and in a fast moving business didn’t notice that it wasn’t actually ready for it. Excellent accidental tragedy.
Delicious. Especially the teeth
The foal behind the pet shop glass is one of the oldest fluffy tropes that is still going strong. Another is the fluffies in a brown cardboard box. I’m super guilty of drawing heavily from these tropes when I look back at my works!
The picture with the broken teeth was definitely inspired by the piece from Quickhorn where a foal breaks it’s teeth trying to eat a gingerbread man. As I’ve said before, I’ve drawn a lot of inspiration and copied Quickhorn extensively.
