Ruby Red pt. 1: Feather In The Gaslight by bunnybunnyhops

Feather stared at her human mummah. She had just given birth and her mummah was looking over her foals. She hoped her mummah liked them. She had to like them. If she didn’t like them, then Feather had to do horrible things. She already had the worst heart hurties.
Her mummah had not been happy when she found out she was pregnant. Feather didn’t understand at first. Her mummah said she wanted Feather to have babies. That after all the noes, she was finally ready to be a mummah. Her mummah was looking for the perfect Special Friend for her. One that was pretty, gentle and would help her raise all of their foals to be good fluffies for nice human mummahs and daddehs. She had the babies, she thought she had found herself the Special Friend.
They had met one spring afternoon. Feather bathing in sun when she heard a voice call out to her. She went to the source. One the other side of the chain link fence she found the prettiest stallion she ever seen. He was big earthie and he looked so strong. He was heavily scarred but Feather could see pass that and could admire his bright orange coat and deep purple mane. His bright yellow green eyes made her heart race.
The stallion smiled gently at her. “Nyu fwend am pwetty mawe. Gwanite go befowe pwetty mawe get in twoubwe fo’ tawkin’ to stwange stawwion.”
Feather felt her face heat up. She never had another fluffy call her pretty before. Back when she lived with her fluffy mummah and daddeh, she was called a monster. That the only reason she was alive was because humans like monsters. Her before human mummah told her she was pretty and called her a bicolor. When she asked why her before human mummah told her she was a light purple one top and white one the bottom. Like a tuxedo cat.
Feather couldn’t let the first fluffy to be nice to her go. “Granite, nu gu.”
Granite stopped. He fought not to turn around. He knew his leaving was best for both of them. Why couldn’t she be a stallion? Stallions wanted to play and be friends. Mares wanted more or ended up wanting more. They asked for special huggies and end up in screaming pain when he gave them what they asked for. Their owners would come out yelling. The most common words be could understand from their yelling was “fixed” and “spayed”. He learned from a much older fluffy later on that meant they couldn’t have babies. Most house fluffy couldn’t have babies.
This mare though, she seemed different, she smelled different. Now that she was close, she smelled like his old Special Friend. She could have his babies. Her being a house fluffy that meant her owner wanted her to have babies. He had a chance. But first he had to make sure she was a good fluffy.
Granite went back to Feather. They talked until her mummah came home. After Feather was called in, Granite watch them from the front window. Her mummah seemed like a good human. He decided in that moment he was going to become Feather’s Special Friend.
After a few talks they made a plan. Behind mummah’s flower bush they would both dig a hole Granite could cowl through then fill in the hole with dirt and poopies so other fluffies wouldn’t come through. After her mummah come home they would ask for Granite to stay and become Feather’s Special Friend. They thought she was a good mummah. To them, she would say yes without question.
The first part of their plan took them a few days. Though Feather’s side was soft and wet, she had to stop before her mummah came home and give herself a bath. Mummah couldn’t ruin the surprise by figuring it out early.
Granite side on the other hand, the dirt was as hard as his name. The ground cut his hooves and made him bleed. But it was all going to be worth it for the safety and family he was about to have.
Their holes connected in the morning, after some food and a bath, they played until the afternoon. They weren’t sure how it happened, but they found themselves calibrating too early and adding to their new formed family.
Feather’s mummah was surprised to find Feather found herself a Special Friend, but not in the way they thought. She screamed at them. Told them that she was going to introduce Feather to a nice pretty stallion that night. He wasn’t going to be a stud, he was going to be her forever Special Friend. He was perfect in everyway. He had the good daddeh training. He was smart, pretty, gentle and strong. He was going to give her the best prettiest babies, and was going to wait like a good fluffy to give her more babies. Now Feather had ruin it by being an ugly whore.
What happened next shocked the fluffies even more. Feather’s mummah put Granite in a immobilization board. She made Granite watch as she took a sorry stick to Feather’s face. Repeating over and over that Feather was an ugly whore and it was all Granite’s fault. But the worse was yet to come.
The next morning began the gaslighting and training. Feather’s mummah could work at home for a few months, so she did. After a three to four hours of work, she would torture the fluffies. Making them change their stories about how they met and how Feather ended up with tummy babies.
They still met on that sunny spring day, but now Granite demanded to be in the back yard to give the dummy monster mare enfies. That if she didn’t give him good feels, he was going to get his toughies to gang rape her over and over until she couldn’t have babies. She forced Granite to call himself smartie. Forced him to call Feather a monster, ugly, a dummy, and an enfie mare. Made him tell her he was disgusted that she was carrying his babies. He wish she and her tummy monster’s would go forever sleepies.
Feather was forced to tell Granite she hated him, that he raped her. His huggies hurt. Now she had to carry and raise his monster babies. They didn’t deserved huggies and love. They deserved forever sleepies. She hated the bad babies in her tummy, but she was a good fluffy and was going to raise them to be good babies.
That wasn’t all Feather had to do. Her mummah said if her babies weren’t pretty enough. She had to treat them like her fluffy parents treated her. That made her heart sink. She didn’t think she could do that. She couldn’t deny her babies huggies and love, and say meanies things to them. But mummah gave her the training foals and told her to get started or she was going to make her babies come too soon. Feather did what she was told.
If they didn’t do or say what mummah wanted, they would be punished. They would get a sorry stick to the face until the admitted their crimes. Then they were put into a blackout sorry box they couldn’t lay down in and made to listen to the other fluffy’s hateful words to them on repeat all night or when mummah decided to let them out.
Granite didn’t know why, but one day he asked mummah to take his special lumps away. He didn’t want to be a bad smart stallion anymore. Mummah happily took him to the local store to get him his free of charge neutering. She left him at a good kind shelter that didn’t ask any questions. They wanted to save fluffies and find them good homes. They couldn’t do that if the abusers felt uncomfortable.
Feather took longer to break and retrain but by the time she gave birth, she had learn what to do if her mummah didn’t like the babies. And she was completely gaslit into believing mummah’s version of events was what really happened.
Mummah shook her head. “I’m sorry girl, but that meanie smarty stallion didn’t give you any best pretty babies.” She show Feather the five gray and brown colored babies. “Don’t worry girl, we can make them the best not pretty babies. If they aren’t dummies of course. People need helper fluffies after all. But remember you have to treat them like bad babies so they can be the best babies.”
Feather let out a weak “Yes, mummah.”
Her mummah smiled. The truth was the foals were average in color, but she dyed the brown and gray so Feather had an easy time with treating them like shit. They were going to make her money one why or another, and people really did need helper fluffies. “Cheer up girl. After this bad babies are out of the house, your Special Friend can live here. And we are to never talk about this bad babies or that awful smarty. It would break his little heart to know what happen to you. I want both of you be happy.”
Feather smiled. It would be nice if that beautiful dream she had came true. About the spring and the nice stallion that said she was pretty.

I’m wondering what trauma mama went through that she’s taking it out the fluffies

I’m not done with them yet. Feather, her owner Ruby, will return with Feather’s new Special Friend, and a nurse/nanny fluffy.

I might do a story with Granite if people want that.

The sad thing is, she doesn’t see her actions as abuse, just necessary. I’ll go into her mindset in a later story. It will explain why the face and not the flank or the rear.

Well, she calls her prize bicolor alicorn an ugly whore, so that sounds like she’s re-enacting abuse she was subjected to. I won’t be surprised at all if Ruby has facial scars from past abuse.

I wonder if having Feather now always give birth to okay or dull colored fluffies when she is paired with the stallion her owner wants can be a thing. Probably in that case, Feather would be gas lit to believe it’s all her fault, but still no optimal results for her owner hehe

You have forgotten already she’s also patterned. Lol.

I have this story planned out. You will get to find that out soon what she will have with the chosen stallion.

Right, I forgot about the patterns. Probably because fluffy genetics can be so random that anything could or couldn’t happen every pregnancy hehe.

Why would Ruby buy a nurse fluffy? Is the plan to have Feather pump out foals so often that she cannot take care of them?

That’s one possibility. But the answer is to help Feather out with her foals. Her Special Friend will be there, but an extra set of teats wouldn’t hurt.
