I know no one here has seen me around since it was announced that a large chunk of my stories will be removed (and now have been removed), so let’s just make it official.

I’m leaving. For good this time.

And I’m not leaving only because of the stories being removed thing. Let’s just say I saw the writing on the wall a while before that.

Mods, you can leave my remaining stories up or delete 'em too, I don’t care either way, but I have to say that for the life of me, I will never understand what the absolute fuck you guys were thinking when you decided to make Za a mod. Whatever you guys were smoking that day, I’ll pass on that. And this is NobodyAtAll the incorrigible stoner who never met a joint he didn’t like saying it.

Anyway, there’s some good news too! This isn’t the end of the NobodyAtAll Literary Universe! Oh no, nosiree!

I’m happy to announce that I’ve joined Archive of Our Own and I’ll be re-uploading all of my content there bit by bit. There’s a link in my profile, but fuck it, here’s another one, it costs me literally nothing and I don’t give a flying fuck if I’m not allowed to do that.

I’ve been informed that a few people have said that they’ll follow me on A03 if I joined, and now I have. To those people, I sincerely hope to see you there. If anyone wants to stay in touch with me, you have about twenty-four hours to exchange contact information before I log out of this account for the last time. I’ve got Discord and email, and of course you can contact me if you’ve got an A03 account, I assume.

I’m gonna leave it at that. There’s tons of things that could be said, but I’ve got shit to do. Stories to reupload. You know how it is.

So yeah. To summarise it in my country’s tongue: doei, klootzakken!

Funny thing is, this is actually the toned down version. The original version was much more harsh. For the record, the title is a Helluva Boss reference, because I couldn’t leave without one last reference. That’s my thing!

I’m leaving FC anyway, so does it really matter? I’m actually looking forward to this. It feels like a much-needed fresh start. A03 will provide me opportunities for storytelling I simply don’t have here.

Plus, to be honest, it’ll be good to not have people whining “bUt ThErE’s NoT eNoUgH fLuFfIEs”.

Naturally, I hope that you’ll still be following me on A03. I actually had a new Chaos story in the works, and once everything’s been re-uploaded there… did I mention it’s about Chaos’ parties?

I could. But I feel like it’s time for me to leave anyway. I made a decision after the second time I left that if I leave again, I’m not coming back. And I’m standing by that decision.

I’m sticking around for twenty-four hours… ish… and that’s just to make sure I stay in touch with anyone who wants to. After that, I’m out.

I know what you mean but from a storytellers standpoint, you gotta get a public somewhere, it’ll be harder to find an audience if you’re only on AO3. You can stop posting your stories here and still advertise somehow. Just my 2 cents.

Well, a bunch of my stories have already been removed, including the entirety of Calvin and the ChaotiX, which is the meat and potatoes of my headcanon, so if people want to read the whole thing, they’re gonna have to come to A03 anyway.

If the mods wanna leave the remaining stories up, and I get new readers that way, great! If they decide to nuke the lot, whatever, I’ve got everything backed up, and once I’ve re-uploaded all of it to A03, I’ll think about finding other platforms for my works. One step at a time, my man… woman… person?

Honestly, I think I should be grateful to have any audience, and I’m not gonna worry about numbers.

It’s nice to see you’ve gone from depression to anger. Which I do mean genuinely; means we don’t gotta worry about you self-harming.

It’ll be much easier than being only on here. This site is specifically for fluffy stuff, so advertising non-fluffy things here would very quickly be akin to advertising your webkins sales on a porn site. It just ain’t what sells and to a bunch of people, it’ll totally ruin the vibe.

AO3 is much friendlier for NAA’s stuff, so even if it’s forced, this is a very good move to make. Alternate sites should only be stuff like fanfiction.net or deviantart, places that aren’t restricted in what content you can post.

I’m not actually that angry about this. Frankly, this was gonna happen eventually. I accepted that a while back. Even when I first joined, I didn’t think I’d be a part of FC forever. I knew that my time here would end sooner or later. This too will pass.

I’m really sorry you felt your only option was leaving, but I won’t say I don’t understand. However I’d like to take a minute to address a few things.

Neither will I, but I’m proud of the work we’ve done since that day! From nuking anthro porn to banning Marakasaya to purging non-fluffy content, thank you for being part of my three step program.

Yeah, because you won’t be on a fluffy website where people expect you to focus on fluffies, and not Dragon One Piece Bizarre Star Wars: Shippuden.

No kidding, I am glad to hear this. I hope you keep writing and keep improving. Just because you weren’t a good fit here doesn’t mean you should give up.
