Heya! Shady here, with the finest of low effort content as a backdrop. This is blueberry, she likes to raspberry.
Am you back?
Not really. But I’m here to lurk a bit.
I’d like to just be available to answer any questions that might be out there.
Will you finish that dammed comic?
Good news and bad news.
I’m not finishing it. However, I bought a thing that is supposed to let you dig in your dead hard drives, and if it works, I have 4 new pages that are 100% complete that I will drop.
Why not finish it?/ why did you leave?
Many reasons. To begin, It was very high effort and almost all I ever did artistically, every page taking more than 9 hours to complete. I had to get a full time job. New pages were having very little interest, faves or comments. And I was getting the feeling of being shunned by people like the fluff cast members. I was kicked from the community fluffpile multiple times, even after talking with menthol to express my desire to stay. I decided that if they kicked me one more time, I was walking away. And they did. With that feeling in one hand and the feeling of a sinking ship in the other, I was basically self destructing. I had to move on.
shit, did we kick you out, dawg? if we did i apologize, i’ve honestly forgotten why we did after all this time but it couldn’t have been anything serious if it slipped my mind like that. for what it’s worth, again, sorry about that and know there’s no hard feelings on my end mang. hopefully the hard drive scraper works and the other pages come through, you always had killer art back on the booru!
Welcome back to the fandom and welcome to the community! Hope you will find your stay here comfortable. If you have any questions about the site, feel free to ask. Also, if you haven’t, check out the Quick Start Guide. Some useful info there, and a few links that may also help you.
I know exactly how getting stuck with overambitious megaprojects feel like, and making smaller manageable pieces is definitely more fun for the artist. I’ll be looking forward to whatever and whevever you post!
I wasn’t around during the original Booru but I’ve enjoyed the heck out of your stuff that was in the archives. Even if you’re only here to lurk, we’re glad to have you!
Also while scootafluff might never be finished, would you be willing to give us a plot summary of how it ends?
