Show! Don't Tell! The Threshold For What Designates a Smarty is Too Low In Many Instances! ShitPost/AgendaPost by OtherOtherCoraline

This. The way I look at it, there are generally two kinds of smarties. “True” smarties are genuinely smart by fluffy standards and usually make good leaders if put in that position. “Brat” smarties are not smarter than the average fluffy (and may in fact be dumber), but declare themselves smarties out of a desire for power and privilege. These are the ones who, if in charge, make bad decisions that get them and their herds into trouble, like invading people’s lawns, as well as the kind most people associate with the word “smarty”. There’s also the rare smarty with the “true” smarty’s brains AND the “brat” smarty’s selfishness, but these are hard to identify without constant observation.

The whole smarty thing is just a flimsy buzzword that immediately “””justifies”””complete annihilation of some random fluffy.

“Oh he said THE WORD even though he’s completely sincere and well mannered he’s had it coming!”

We need more smarty-friends. Always likes the idea that smarty syndrome was just a neutral thing, and a fluffy being extra awful or extra kind was just personality based

“He called himself smarty once! He’s obviously deserved to be abandoned because obviously he’s going to grow up evil!”
