For me, fluffies are designed to be the PERFECT pet/toy for teaching children responsibility. They are loving, caring, nurturing, loyal, playful, naïve, and optimistic all to a fault. But they are all dumb as rocks and are incapable of anything without a human to assist them. If the fluffy understood the situation, I think the original is the FAR more likely outcome. But I think there are some fluffies who would misread the situation and ask for sketties because they haven’t eaten for a while. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
They are the purest yet most incompetent creatures on God’s green earth.

And personally, I prefer to explore the concept of competent fluffies, since I find that concept more interesting to me.
