I agree actually. And I am a hugboxer. But I do think that being a hugboxer doesn’t mean going into the other extreme and spoiling the fluffy. I do think disciple is needed in raising fluffies well. Its all about balance.

Its never as simple as “this guy is …box” “this user is …box” because its subjective how far you can go before you consider something abusebox.
for example discipline imo is fine using a sorry stick for misbehavior isnt enough to justify a abusebox tag, im the same light i think you can go beyond what would be considered abusebox and it becomes something much more controversial, gaslighting and i guess what would be considered “Vanilla” type abuse is very different from “oh you dropped your blocks, now all your foals are getting raped and there eyes taken away” and if you go to a hugbox post posting the latter of the two or something to that extent then you are clearly just looking for a reaction.
but then again bigger picture there not real so 
bit odd if people go on every hugbox post talking about rape and torture tho.

Balance it all out. Admit that they were clever and give them a thin layer of spaghetti on top of some kibble, then erase the extra checks while they’re distracted, either by the food or by a subsequent game. Hide the board until you’re sure they’ve forgotten what they did, and from there everything should go back to normal.

My suggestion: give them a tiny amount of spaghetti, like a single ladle’s worth, and tell them that’s all there is. Why? Because they’ve had it every other day, and the spaghetti is running out… and if they don’t be careful, it’ll be gone forever!

Did anyone ever tell them they couldn’t edit the chart? I would give them sketties today for cleverness, then erase the extra marks, move the chart out of reach, and tell them not to do it again. Plus, the Pegasus said please…
I’d deal with this by putting uncooked spaghetti, tomatoes and raw beef in a bowl, and when they ask where the sketti is, I’d say “Well, it’s not ripe yet. The Sketti is only ready to eat on Wednesday and Saturday. It’s not good to eat on any other day”
