It’s from the Christmas truce of 1914, for those who aren’t aware. Basically, soldiers from both sides put the whole Great War thing aside to celebrate the holidays together like chums, exchanging gifts and singing carols and playing footy like there wasn’t even a war going on.
It would be very touching if they hadn’t gone right back to killing each other afterwards.
Also, before the sequel everyone knows and loves, people used to call the first World War the war to end all wars.

Shame it didn’t happen during the first flare up maybe Air would have stayed or at least left under better circumstances, I really liked his and Turbine’s collabs way more than I did Marak’s stuff. Oh well better late than never.
