Jeff quickly returned home with the injured Chocky, trying to ignore the smell of poop and a worrying bloody hooves, slowly dripping. He places her down on her blanket and pillow in their saferoom before calling a vet for advice. In a quiet and tired voice Chocky croaks “Haf Hoofie Owwies…”
“I know, they look very sore, I am going to talk to the nice vet to see how to make you better, You rest.”
