Take Flight P3 (love2hatefluffs)

Part 1 here
Part 2 here

A few months have passed and Missy’s wingie baby has grown into a true adolescent. Naturally, calling him “babbeh” had to come to a stop. Just like mommy Missy, Billy’s name was chosen by their owner.

Surprisingly enough, Billy’s fluttering wings never stopped being enough to carry his feet off the ground, if only for a little bit. Missy’s paranoia surrounding this talent need to be understood by her growing boy…

In an upheaval of emotions, Missy blurts out her and Billy’s little secret. Could this mean the end of her baby’s young life? Will the Slappy Hurty Stick™ come off the wall once again? Tune in next time on Dragon Ball Z (I mean Take Flight)!

I figure maybe I can get at least a frame a day if work stays as busy as it has been for me. Hopefully you’ll see me in your New Topics page a little more in the coming days

This could end in two ways:

  1. Billy becomes famous for becoming one of the first of his kind Two successfully fly without much of a hassle, Drawing attention From the public in the scientific community

  2. Billy‘s owner is incredibly greedy and will risk the little guy safety for selfish Desires, Someone will try to steal Billy, Or the scientific community believes they’ll be able to understand him by cutting him open

I can see other ways that would end:

1- The owner not believes Milly and punish her after she tell Billy to try flying.
2- Billy is no longer capable to fly because of the cat. And get hungry with his mother for not save him in time.

Either spinal damage or PTSD

Yeah! Both can work. One is because of a physical damage and the other is for a psycological damage.
Either way, the once special Billy is no longer special. And he will never know how special he used to be.

Well, I don’t wanna see anything bad happened to him. I find him fascinating.

Personally I think a hugbox ending is in order; Missy’s been worried for so long due to a misunderstanding from her toylike/childlike reasoning, whereas the owner’s been nothing but great for her and her kid, especially now. How I’d like it is:

Owner is shocked, surprised and a little amused at Missy’s justification, and very impressed at her wanting to protect her child from unforeseen dangers. Billy heals up well, the wings put in a slight splint for a bit before regaining flight-worthiness again. Because of this once-in-a-lifetime genetic/anatomical miracle, he eventually (with consent from Missy and Billy, of course) gets to be a part-time stud for scientific study (him and offspring are studied to see if the genetic trait is transferable) as well as a special friend (could be any type but I feel alicorn is more appropriate, due to both Missy and Billy already comfortable with “different” fluffies (Billy legit can fly, so he’d be cool with fluffies who look or act different most likely).

I like how he imagines himself looking like a proper majestic horse

there are two ways this could go: either Billy’s wings get amputated, or the owner shoves the flyswatter up his butt

This could end up in different waysthis could have two or three endings depending if it goes hugbox, abusebox or bleakbox depending on the owner choices, coukd potentially make for more than one ending if love2hatefluffs decide to do that

  1. billy stops being able to fly as he grows older because of his increased weight

It’s not the Victorian era, we can study critters without cutting them open now. :stuck_out_tongue:
