Grandma doesn’t like to talk about him… Apparently he was quite a dick and she has a grudge against him. She’s very proud of her heritage, though. She can speak German fluently~
Awwh, no way ;_; I hope you’re holding up well, all the love goes out to you ![]()
OMG that’s hella sus! Quit being so bougie or I’ll yeet ya 2 da street, FRFR!
(Okay that’s enough…my hipster-speak is done for now)

Ah so she maybe Schlesien German? I have meet one or two wo still live and speak ghat beautiful funny accent that is Schlesien German.
Thanks for the update. I’m glad to know that, although you seem to have a lot going on, you’re pushing forward.
That hipster speak was the most boomer thing I’ve ever read, absolutely “hello fellow kids” style… Are you suuuure you were born in the right generation…? ![]()
I suck at recognising stuff like that ^^’ I just know she was a proud German (and still is), and as she was growing up in Poland she would be bullied for her heritage, so she had proven to them that they are the idiots and she studied hard to show off her intelligence, especially by having the cultural and historical knowledge. She really adored real-life princesses and admired how hard it really was for them, she’s such a hard worker herself ^^ Absolute trooper at 80yo, I have mad respect for her ![]()
As always, I’m just trying my best… It’s difficult, but I’m opening up more and more with time and some effort. I’m hoping to get back on track and become as social and hard-working as I wish I could be ^^
Yass, I’m SUUUUUUURE I was. I may be older than Foxy, but not by much.
Actually, Chikahiro and I are even closer in age.
Don’t rush things, though. U just be U.
I’ll make sure to be the best version of myself as I can be
And age doesn’t matter, so long as everyone is cool and respectful ![]()
I can understand that, my Grandmother worked her own vegetable garden til she couldn’t get up on her own. I heard that it was hard for ethnic Germans in the east after the War and I thought they fleed Orr died in the progroms afterwards.
It must have been, those people didn’t deserve discrimination for what their politicians or soldiers did, they weren’t the ones placing orders or pointing guns at other people
True and not so much true in the end every German that was of Voting age when the Nazis took power was at fault. But that is just my humble opinion.
At the same time, the propaganda and indoctrination was very strong at that time… How would they know so many people were going to die? Nothing really is black and white, and that’s why I’m the type that likes to look at all kinds of shades in between~
Lovely
Just as you are ![]()
Nice too meet you! I’m still a little new so i have NO clue who you are!
BTW how’s your cat (if u don’t mind me asking)?
