Good afternoon viewers, and welcome to episode one of a new limited series: The Nature of Fluffies. Here we will take a look at the behavioral norms and quirks of feral and wild fluffies as well as their subspecies. Sure, we all know that the average fluffy has no business in the wild, but some have truly adapted in a way that’s almost immaculate. How can fluffies do their best against the limitless power of Mother Nature?
Our episode begins in the hidden chamber of a cave. However, this cave contains an interesting dweller - or in this case - dwellers.
A small herd of feral fluffies. Small in stature, but big in personality. Fluffies are one of the few species on the planet that are known to engage in sexual contact for pleasure; something they may refer to as “special huggies” or “good feels”. The foals are generally left to their own devices. Playing, suckling, and napping are their primary pastimes, but there may be an occasional dance.
A natural caregiver for their loved ones, the patriarch of the fluffy herd sets his way off to gather food for his family.
However, fluffies are hedonistic little creatures. The allure for some playtime can be too much to bear, and that opportunity is often seized.
Fluffies are natural foragers, though some may lack the skills to do it well. It seems luck is on the side of this young fluffy. The butterfly he was chasing led him directly to the motherlode.
A field, lush with dandelions and a river with wild cranberries growing in huge bunches. It looks like the flow of the river has slowed in this area, creating a perfect bog for these berries to flourish.
The fluffy begins plucking some of the poofier dandelions and sets them to the side. He hesitates, but ultimately sticks his chubby face into the water to pluck a few hearty bunches of juicy cranberries as well to gather up for his partner back home.
Clearly, he’s quite proud of himself.
After a brisk trek back through the woods, he comes to his and his family’s secret hideout.
He calls out for his family. They should be awfully hungry by now, and it’ll be quite a treat to have dad back as well.
And then…
Tragedy has befallen this young family. Coyotes run through these woods somewhat regularly. Their secret nest has been breached and the fluffy herd has been attacked viciously by hungry hounds.
The remains of his family are scattered about, save for one plump foal who has managed to avoid the attention of the coyotes. What will this brave father fluffy do?
He lets out a blood curdling scream as loud as his lungs will allow!
Then he runs as fast as his legs will take him. Bowels, completely voided as he exits his former home, seemingly giving him more speed and slowing down the coyotes in a smelly, visual haze. This allows the fluffy to make a getaway to live another day and make a new family.
Unfortunately, a brave fluffy is usually a dead fluffy.
