I’m currently between stories (waiting on art, hopefully, for something) and have a fun idea. If you have a story idea that can be explained in two sentences, I’ll try to write it. They likely won’t be long unless I take a particular fancy to something. If there are lots of suggestions I may not do all of them, so if you don’t make the cut I’m sorry.

It’s such a perfect subversion and use of symbiotic relationships in the micro side of nature, like ants and aphids. Especially if, say, the smarty tries to convince the tarantula to join his side, only for said spider to demolish him after a beat.

I guess you can compare it to ants and aphids tho i think ants use em as cattle… this might be more akin to gators and a species of birds act like eachothers bodyguards. The bird protects the gators next and eggs and the gator protects the bird and their eggs/nest.
I dont think a Smarty woukd be smart enough to ecen try to convince the spider. They and their herd probably containing toughies and spoiled mares and bratty foals probably will threaten the spider with hoofs and poop assault. Alternatively the Spider fould be innthe burrow deep and one of the toughies, foals, mares, etc might have disturbed some of the webbing that pad out some of the burrow like an alarm system. Another possibility coukd be they try threatening the mare and her foals as she talks about this mythical "Big Many Leggies Mummah/Friend with the herd and smarty thinking she and her foals are just dumb talkibg nonsense.

Hugbox ending: Fluffy, when trying to clean up, find’s the annoyed family member’s missing valuable (a locket, a treasured photo). This endears said member to the Fluffy, who only ever called him that because of how their childhood pet was similarly called that, so put a wall around his heart.
