Nobody entertains the idea because they either have no idea how to do it, or they know exactly how much work and money it takes and it’s too much of a pain in the ass
The community simply Is. It expands, contracts, deforms, and transforms by our collective efforts and interactions. What we put in is what we get out. To try and “recreate” a community (or any sort of collective effort) is to splinter it.

If this was a booru there wouldn’t be any such designations and you wouldn’t have to worry about it.

That the would pitch that idea out the window and go with a site like reddit or another muilt function site
But that it not costly and free based that way the team or stand alone administration could focus on actually making it high quality instead of focusing on server costs alone
Serious answer: I would actually be fucking involved in the community instead of sitting on my hands and fingering my own shitter like some past site owners did.
I’d want something booru-built instead of more modernized and uber-streamlined. Booru frontpages gave much more content to choose from at a glance, and gave new posts a better chance to be seen. But not just a stock booru layout like Danbooru or something, I’d want more room for customization. So maybe not running booru software like Shimmie, but something modeled similarly in another shell. Something that allows in-built video hosting might be nice but it would absolutely RAPE server space. So maybe not, bare minimum I’d want to allow embedding like FC.
I’d have to crack down on tagging and create an alias library because we don’t need the old Fluffybooru system where you don’t know if you should use smarty_friend, smartyfriend, smarty-friend, or just smarty. (Or smaety, because some of those niggas just fat-finger everything)
I would have to feel out anon commenting, the booru had this and it was both a good thing and a bad thing.
Anything beyond that would be more cultural, like shifts in a few rules and picking out a few mods. But as far as making the site goes, that’s where I’d wanna go.
I’m sure there’s other shit I wanna do but it’s almost 4 am and this is a critical thinking exercise.

For me and them be the Admin because let’s just say how it is… I know my limits and sadly I just don’t think I’m intelligent enough for something like that, and im not smart enough.
Plus they also have experience running a subreddit and a mod team
Like as a example: if there is a problem with two people, I don’t know how to defuse it properly and I barely know how to work the phone I got now

Reddit is awful. Bad layout, not conducive to an actual community, and the current fluffy subreddit is populated by creeps, children, and the mentally retarded.
Don’t make another website and splinter an already niche community any further?
I can guarantee it won’t take off either way, ask anyone here about the Fluffy Circus.
