“Su dis am dah “mystewious” Nickew City? Edwin had highah expectations…”
[A quote from Edwin to a soldier, upon first sighting of the Nickel city.]
I had to push myself out of the way to be able to dodge this monster’s hammer, he came at us with such a speed that seemed impossible. After the dodge I saw that he was thrown into a building, completely destroying it’s wall in the process and when he got out he spoke with a slightly respectful tone.
“I got to say, most die just standing there frozen. So Good job, I like chasing my prey…”
He begins to run at us again, but slower and more thoughtful this time. Swinging his hammer all around but by some divine miracle missing us completely, and instead hitting some the soldiers engaged in battle, and even monster soldiers! As he is still swinging Dar speaks, taking heavy breaths.
“HOW DAH HEWW DO WE BEAT DIS THING!”
Charles speaks as he wipes the dust out of his eyes.
“Emiwy was abwe to cut it back in Gween Woof, we just nee’ to find weak spots in it’s awmow!”
With Charles saying that the monster returned, with his hammer now covered in the blood of both allies and enemies. And him looking slightly exhausted, he speaks with a rising anger in his voice.
“No more games! LET’S FINISH THIS!”
Walking towards us menacingly with his hammer, he swings it at me in a rage. I pull myself backwards for the first swing and for the seconds I fall to the ground missing it completely. Than I notice the monster hesitate for a second before letting out a scream as Ix ran behind him and stabbed the monster in one of the few weak spots there were in his armor. He recoiled back and I knew I didn’t have much time so raising Durandal I began to attack the beast striking it’s head. With a swing, Durandal got closer and closer to it’s neck, I had done it! But… It saw me before I was all the way there, and with only a small scratch to the neck, the monster made a swipe at me with it’s hard black leathery hoove and I was sent flying back. Hitting the ground with a thud, I was in so much pain! I felt what sounded like several cracks inside my body and it I was coughing than vomiting firstly my breakfast but soon later blood. Dar speaks in a panic.
“EMIWY NO!”
Dar and over to come and help me and as I started to get myself back up, I heard what sounded like more fighting, than silence, than a horrible twisted laugh. And I looked to see what was going on.
“Look what we got here!”
The monster said triumphantly and in his left hoove, **he was holding reverend by the neck.**He spoke again, this time getting closer to Reverend face.
“Tried to be a hero, as well?”
He speaks again, tightening his grip around Reverend with his face being one of pure horror.
“Elohim, I sacrifice this biotoy in you’re eternal name!”
Without hesitation reverend is thrown to the ground, and the monster get’s on it’s hind legs and raises his Warhammer far up into the sky before plunging it right into Reverends head. He was killed instantly. I saw as it happened, I looked into his trembling eyes as the hammer fell on him and flesh, bone and brains were thrown everywhere. Charles speaks in a exhausted panic.
“FUCKIN HEWW! EBEWYONE BACK NAO!”
Everyone begins to run, with me trying my best to run as best I could and as we ran and the monster began chasing us, laughing and mocking us as we did.
“RUN, YES! YOU WILL FALL, ALL WITH FALL TO ELOHIM!”
Making our way deeper inside the alleyways of the city, we could hear the sounds of battle all around us and as we kept through we thought that monster wouldn’t be able to fit, but we were wrong.
With every hit with it’s hammer, the monster destroyed everything in it’s path. Getting closer and closer to us and making almost animalistic roars as it did, until finally it almost reached arm’s length as us. We were terrified and I didn’t know what to do, this was it… That was until Ix spoke, yelling at us with a tone of voice I hadn’t heard before.
“LOOK! GET IN THE BUILDING NOW!”
Looking in Ix’s direction I saw it, the monster had destroyed a piece of a wall leading to some building and as we ran inside as fast as we could I was astonished by what the building was. It must have been the temple of LeeBee, but not the LeeBee from Motor. In there version of Anuism this was seen as Queen of all gods and her granite statue differently showed it. It was covered in gold ordainments and she was sitting on a throne and was depicted as a bat pony (In Motor her temple was located near Leakytown, and she was always depicted as an earthie) We didn’t have much time to admire this place, as soon as we entered the monster broke through the wall with his own body, screaming with anger as he did.
“WHY WON’T YOU DIE ALREADY!!!”
The monster roared as it started throwing it’s hammer sloppily around the temple, destroying almost everything in it’s path. Than as the rage subsided a bit, the monster regained it’s grip and started chasing Charles, breathing heavily as it did. After a short chase with us not being able to catch it, Charles tripped and fell to the ground and the monster got on it’s hind legs. it was cackling as it was about to plunge it’s hammer and kill him. But seeing this I screamed at the top of my lungs.
“NOOO!”
So with unbridled courage I ran at the monster in my weakened state, and with no hesitation I plunged Durandal as far as I could in it’s back right leg, probably hitting bone. The monster let out a screech of pure agony, as it came walking back on it’s hind legs and hit LeeBee’s statue from behind. The monster fell to the ground as the heavy statue began hobbling left and right, Than came falling down right on the monster’s face.
Almost half of the monster’s head was caved in. With it falling limp and lifeless and instantly. For the first 10 seconds after this, we were still in so much shock that nobody spoke until finally Dar spoke, putting his hoove on his face.
“Webewend he, he, he’s dead! Dis nu can be happening!”
Charles with utmost caution begins walking over to the lifeless corpse. At first he just looks at it, than fall back with fear as the corpse filches slightly.
“Fuck!”
Charles pulls out his sword and using it slices open the neck of the monster, making sure it’s dead before spitting it’s eye. After that Charles turns to us and speaks.
“C’mon dewe commandah am dead, wet’s go an’ finish off dah west!”
Following Charles out of the temple, we arrived at a large street and even though the battle had been going on for some time now, it was still very intense with Motor soldiers and Nickel city guards defending against the hordes of monsters, with bodies littering the ground. Joining the fight best we could, we slayed countless monsters with our bodies filled with rage at the loss of our comrade and newfound confidence with the defeat of there commander. We were starting to outnumber the monsters when out of nowhere a sound could be heard. It being far away, but loud enough that everyone could hear it. The sound of a… Horn? The monsters instantly stopped attacking and after a few seconds we saw there faces full of shock, and what looked like fear. The started running away, heading for the gate of Nickel city and following them it ultimately lead us out of the city, with the rest of the armies of Motor and Nickel city. And we saw the still giant army of monsters outside looking to the southeast and getting into a defensive position at both there and at us. And when we looked we saw what they were trying to defend from. Up on a hill and riding down at fast speeds, an army of 3000 Calvary we charging right at them, there dark green banners looking majestic in the wind. But as they charged at the monster’s, one thing was made clear. These soldiers looked nothing like fluffies at all. Fin
