“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
[Revelation 22:13]

Once the alliance was finalized, than came the many, many treaties. It started with the smaller ones, mostly concerning infrastructure. Some of them being the creation of a paved stone road between Motor and Chicago, several forts and castles, and a permanent pathway that connects Inner Motor, Maximus and Nickel City. Than came the more serious treaties, Chicago and the Changelings establishing diplomatic relations with the Bat Ponies and Madanak, treaties about what is going to happen to Pandemon after the war, and it’s construction into an actual nation. And probably the first ever in history, a treaty between Chicago and the Changelings about deescalating things on the border, lessening troops numbers as a first step. Than came the biggest treaty of them all, the one between Motor and the Bat Ponies that had been in the works for over a year. The terms of it were simple, but what it was going to bring would last more possibly centuries…

Nickel City would be entering into a personal union with The Kingdom of Motor. This effectively makes Enoch and all of his descendants the rulers of both nations, I found it crazy they wanted this. Of course both nations will remain separate, the Bat ponies seeing that they still have some level of sovereignty. Once the treaty is signed, Tethius speaks to Enoch.
“Tethius knows ‘ou wewe questionin’ dis am highness, buh dis am dah wite decision in dah wong tewm. Pwospewity an’ stabiwity fo’ ebewyone, an a swite wewief to ouw debts.”
GrimDal was about to speak, him ready to officially ending the conference. But Vissarman spoke first, him and the other Chicago leaders overlooking a piece of paper.
“I’d like to give out one more treaty, this one is for Motor.”
A Royal Guard begins heading over and GrimDal speaks.
“Oh ok, what is it?”
The Royal Guard takes the paper and begins taking it back to Enoch, Vissarman speaks.
“Since and mentioning of economic difficulties, and helping us secure food for the year. We thought it only right to try and find some way to help, a way of showing good will.”
Enoch and Tethius both look over the paper, and are shocked by it. Tethius speaks, him almost speechless.

“Dah scawe of these inbestments, oh Anu… An’ wook Enoch, aww of these twade deaws! we nu know what to say!”
Vissarman speaks, a quiet satisfaction on his face.
“Don’t mention it, these agreements will benefit us both. I’m sure with these new standards that trade will double, who knows maybe even triple once this war is over. A new beginning is what this is.”
Enoch signs the treaty and a Guard brings it back, once it is finished GrimDal speaks.
“Well than I consider this conference over! You may now all exit to you’re chambers, you will leave for you’re home countries in the morning.”
When we left the following day, both freshly supplied and having renewed traveling spirits. Things never looked better, we had now an alliance of nations, an Equestrian alliance. Chicago and the Hives were willing to leave the past in the past, and Motor might not fall to financial ruin. I wanted to tell Ix all of this, her probably going to be the happiest with this news, but strangely I couldn’t find her? I speak to Dar about this as we exit Ardor.

“Y’know whewe Ix am? Been meanin’ to teww hew dah gud news.”
Charles looks at Dar with a shocked expression, while Dar looks at him with a bit of shame and embarrassment. Instantly I knew they forgot to tell me something, Charles speaks.
“Dah day befowe we went to go get those wuk’s, Enoch had sent icks an’ WingScwatch back to Motow.”
Sent back!? was Ix hurt, was WingScratch hurt, where they both!? Charles notices my frightened face and speaks.
“Nu wowwy, boff of them am fine. Enoch just sent them back ‘cos he wanted them to do somethin’ wiff dah Motow miwitawy, said he wanted someone he compwetewy twusted on dah scene.”
I take a long sigh and found myself getting a bit mad (How could they forget to tell me!?) Than after a few moments of giving sour looks to Charles and Dar, I got thinking about what Ix was doing that was so important. Something to do with the Motor military Charles said, I wonder what?

Because of our previous experience with this route we where able to get back a lot fast, cutting off a whole week of travel (It still took a while though, I think around 2-3 weeks) And finally with the trip complete we had arrived at Nickel City, and the place I had left no longer existed… Instead of a open field of a previous battle, there was now a tent mega city that looked the size of Stablelot. Thousands upon thousands of soldiers where camping out, and pointing us out in shock. With the Chicago and Changeling caravans departing, and giving our goodbyes we waved and entered this “City” the wagons could barely even move, it was that crowded. I look to see Tethius get on top of the carriage, peaking as loud as he can to who remained.
“Whewe mobin’ dah wagons to dah Nickew City waww, once dewe 'ou wiww be giben owdews!”
Slowly the wagons made there way to the wall, and around 30 minutes later we arrived. Us given many rude words and gestures from soldiers who thought themselves more important than the King’s convoy. Getting off near the Royal Carriage, I saw Enoch give a goodbye to Madanak, them giving each other a pat on the shoulder as he left. Than Enoch went towards us, him speaking and looking satisfied.
“It seemed Ix fowwowed fwuffy’s owdews pwetty weww, wewe awmost weady to head out to dah uncwaimed wands.”
Ix was put up to this!? I speak.
“‘Ou sent Ix to do aww of dis, bwin’ aww these sowdiews hewe… Wow!”
Enoch smiles and gives a slight chuckle, speaking as he looks out to the camp.

“Yeah. Tethius thought it wise to send boff Ix an’ WingScwatch back hewe to 100% make suwe dey wewen’t found. Thought it gud to make them begin sendin’ dah twoops hewe, make suwe dewe am nu pwobwems. Soon eben mowe sowdiews am coming, pwobabwy stawt mobin’ out soon.”
I speak, looking at the camp with Enoch.
“‘Ou mind if emiwy an’ dah othews go an’ meet hew, it’s been such a wong whiwe. Ow if ‘ou hab owdews fo’ us, that am fine.”
Enoch speaks, looking at me.
"Suwe go ahead, we awen’t weabin’ wite nao. Actuawwy Enoch had to weabe soon, nee’ to addwess dah peopwe of nickew city about dah union. Goodbye.
Enoch leaves to go meet with Tethius, and I go over to Dar and Charles to to tell them of our soon to be reunion.

As we walked amongst the camp we asked about Ix’s location, getting lots of answers. (The most common being “I nu fucking’ know!”) eventually we came to the conclusion that it was somewhere at the far side of the camp, and you’ll just know you’re there when you see it. After a bit of walking I think we finally found the place, a double story wooden strut tent with it having a orange banner strung around it, as we got closer we saw a sign at the tent door.
[Commanders Headquarters]
Next to the sign was a rusty bell I ring it, and instantly I heard a voice. We found her.
“I don’t know what it is with you people and bugging me, I swear if it’s some small problem again!”
We take a step back, a bit surprised. Charles speaks.
“Maybe we shouwd hab waited a bit…”
Dar chuckles and I couldn’t help but crack a smile, the tent door opens and we see a armor less Ix. Her face looking at first full of contempt and anger, than complete shock as she saw us, than a shocked joy as she went over to come give us a hug.
“You’re back! Why didn’t you three say anything, got me thinking it was some idiot!”
I speak.
“Wanted to keep it suwpwise!”
We could hear WingScratch’s voice, her in the tent.
“Who’s there swee-”
Ix quickly speaks. Me a bit confused on what the last part was?
“It’s my comrades, there back from the DragonLands!”
Ix speaks, getting halfway between the tent door.
“I’ll be back I need to get ready, than come on in and tell me everything!”

A few minutes later IX reemerges in her armor, giving us the signal to head inside. Once we enter I get my first look of the tent, it having much more of a house feel than military one. There was a kitchen, living room, dining room, the type of place only given out to high ranking military staff. Also there I saw WingScratch, her sitting at the dining room table with some bread. She speaks as she sees us, sounding slightly disappointed.
“Back already?”
We follow Ix and all sit down at the table, her speaking.
“Now tell me, what was it like!”
For the next 20 minutes we speak of our journey and the conference, both of them not speaking much or asking many questions as we told of the conference and what had happened. When we finish WingScratch is the first to speak, sounding shocked.
“There no way Vissarman was willing to be that diplomatic with the Changelings, he couldn’t!”
I speak.
“Emiwy saw it, it was cwazy!”
Ix speaks, the relief in her face obvious.
“Well if there is going to be peace, it’s about time… I’d give anything to see Viltra’s reaction when she get’s the news, reconciliation with Chicago has always been a big dream of hers.”
Suddenly the bell rings and Ix gets all mad again, she speaks as we all try our hardest not to smile.
“BE THERE IN A MINUTE!”
She leaves and WingScratch speaks, getting up as well.
“I’d best join her. Some of these idiots are barely literate…”
She leaves and we are left alone, Charles speaks out of nowhere, something being on his mind for awhile.
“Haben’t 'ou two noticed that dewe’s onwy one bed hewe, stwange…” Fin

Thank you for reading my story! I can’t wait to begin work on the next chapter, actually writing the Pandemon war has been something I’ve been wanting to do since chapter 1 of this story! After a short break I will begin writing this chapter, it’s most likely going to be the last full one as chapter 10 is the ending. Of course constructive criticism is appreciated, and may you have a good day!

[Epilogue-Hive City-Royal Chamber-Changeling Servant]
Making my way to the chamber, I ran faster than I had ever done before. The news Queen Vela brought back, about the treaty and with Chicago… Grand Queen Viltra has to know about this now! As I make it to the door the guards stop me, one speaking in regular voice as they already recognized me.
“What are you bringing?”
I speak, almost speechless.
“Then news, didn’t you hear!”
The guard speaks, confused.
“What?”
I speak.
“Queen Vela returned from her trip, Motor signed the treat and… Here just read this!”
The guard takes the note and reads it, his jaw drops almost instantly. He speaks as the other guards try to look at it.
“Open the door now, the Grand Queen needs to see this!”
The door starts to open and the guard speaks, him taking a short sign as he looks at it.
“The Grand Queen hasn’t been too well these past few weeks, not eating that much, low energy, semi frequent coughs, vision and hearing difficulties… Try to give the news slowly, she’s going through a lot.”

I nod to the guard and enter, the Royal Chamber feeling a bit colder than last time.
I slowly begin walking towards Grand Queen Viltra I speak, letting her know of my presence.
Grand Queen I have arrived with information, Queen Vela has returned!"
No response…
I speak again, the guard said something about hearing difficulties.
“GRAND QUEEN VILTRA, QUEEN VELA HAS RETURNED!”
No response…
I feel myself getting a bit worried, “thoughts” even beginning to surface in my mind. I speak quiet reassurances to myself.
“She’s probably just in a deep sleep…”
But as I turned into the inner chamber, I didn’t speak of the news. I felt myself giving a bloodcurdling scream, what I saw infront of me would forever haunt me. Viltra was there but, no, NO! Her body was extremely pale and laid completely still and relaxed, tongue slightly sticking out with a bit of drool leaking, and those eyes. Those lifeless, bloodshot, glassy eyes staring at me blankly. I could hear the guards begin running towards me as I fell. Grand Queen Viltra, she’s gone…
