Until I saw the tag I was going to say ‘who said its lost? maybe its just an art piece.’ Could also potentially mean ‘lost’ as in it’s dead now since it mentions them being stuck forever when it dries.
If it’s some back alley abuser that comes by with a syringe to fill up the piece cause they cant keep their abuse projects at home maybe~
My guess, the resting pad melted due to cheap materials when the foal disconnected itself and the entire tank emptied into the main cavity over time.
But yeah realistically I agree with you that the proportions seem off.
