It’s really silly because it’s fictional and always has been. The old community looking down on “Abusing someone elses owned fluffy” was more along the lines of trying to keep out repetitive cringy /b/ edgelording than actually caring about the fluffy. Abuse stories were about abusing a neighbors fluffy for a perceived slight and making the abuser the hero had already been done multiple times already and much, much better (Even hugbox stories had been done about the “Punishing your neighbours fluffy” trope which were significantly better than most abuse works). Most of those were very low effort stories and pictures as well. So while there was always “Destroying other peoples property doesn’t make you a hero” people annoyed. It was also trying to run off people who did the same thing all the time and making low effort stories/art.
Now, You could do those kind of stories and pictures, but it had to be really good if you didn’t want people to shit all over it. I’m not an abuse fan but OP is a good, high effort post that ticks all the butthurt boxes in abusing someone elses fluffy and it’s an alicorn to boot (Which is why I found it funny because it’s essentially a good booru post).

“Good” places still have shit heads and criminals. Just because your neighborhood is “nice” doesn’t mean you skimp on safety and caution, lot of people find that out the hard way.

A lot of people can argue about morals but … All I see is an Alicorn was abused and had its pitiful dreams crushed. These facts alone made this art a really nice treat alone.
