So we found this foal - pt 3 (by DarkMatter)

Previously . . . .

Hello, my people.
I’m not too happy with a couple panels, but damn, this took some time to draw.

So, our apparently clueless new daddy didn’t blunder on feeding, but maybe showering in the kitchen sink wasn’t the greatest experience in our foal’s life. I got a couple ideas for the next part, Palmtree’s first night at daddy’s house, but feel free to suggest possible ways for this fluffy to be taken care of, or to find some sort of misfortune in the future. The comments on part 2 were nice and one or other thing from there may happen.

Again, drawing is totally not a talent and takes time (taking hints on improvements, please), so, see you… one of these days.

I see you put a lot of effort into your art and story telling! I like the panels of the human hand holding the babbeh under the water and the foal being bottle fed the most! You did good work! :sparkling_heart:

I like how the “fluffies are scared of drowning” thing is integrated - a lot of stories just have the fluffy cry and sob but not be in danger from the water, making the fear into a “fluffies are so cowardly/stupid they fear something harmless” thing, but this little guy? Yeah he would drown if you’re not careful. And oh this silly oblivious owner - you can’t just give cow milk to a random infant. Not even to a human one! There’s special baby formula so they get all the nutrients they need!

Very cute, looking forward to seeing how he manages from now on!

I see that the owner took option three, well at least Palm tree is clean.

Now that he’s fed you’re going to need to setup a fluffy pen for him to sleep in. Bedding wise something as simple as a old cat bed should work, but old shirts and blankets can work as well. Foals have trouble maintaining body heat, as well as sleeping alone and in total darkness. An old stuffed animal and nightlight can fix that.

Litter training is a must going forward. Be sure to use verbal and physical touch to reward him using the litter tray and not treats. It sets a bad habit for Palm tree to expect treats every time he uses it.

Unless that infant is a cow calf, of course. :3

Really enjoying the scale of perspective with the fluffy’s height. I often forget just how small they are compared to humans.

There’s a lot of potential for accidental abuse here!

I like how it was fine with being cleaned up as long as it thought the human was going to lick it clean. The unreasonable expectations begin…

It’s not helped by the owner putting the foal’s head under the tap, effectively giving him a mini-waterboarding session.

Most videos I see of people giving kittens a bath involve splashing the water over it, or just running the body only under the tap when rinsing: unhappy kitten bathing.

I always love to see when a foal is essentially waterboarded by a sink tap xD

It’s even more sublime than that. He’s in danger from drowning in part because he’s afraid of it. If he hadn’t been yelling about it he wouldn’t have almost drowned
