Characters Guide for Shadowfox’s The Pack
The Humans of “Cresent Moon Fluffies”
Shadow (Siana)Tollakson
Initially reluctant handler and caretaker of demonfluffs, manager and live-in overseer of the “Cresent moon fluffies” breeding operation. Brony, nerd, lovecraft and Watership Down fan. Hip length hair dyed midnight blue, just under five feet tall, 25 years old. Teeny bit snarky, and just a little bit more sadistic than she is willing to admit. Tentatively dating Asher. Spends more than she wants to admit keeping her hair the color she wants it at that length.
Dave (Daffyd) Tollakson-
Proud member of at least three abuser forums, Mod for two of them. Shadow’s cousin, friends with George and Kal from childhood, met Bill through forums a few years ago. Five foot 6, chubby mousy blond 28 years old.
Kal-(Kalden) Moore.-
Maintenance and remodelling genius. Has construction contacts from one end of the county to the other. Admin for two different abuser forums in his “free time”. Six foot, 300lbs, dark hair and thick beard. Has known George, Dave, and Shadow since they were kids. 29.
Bill (William) Gregory-
Phd in Genetics, used to work at Hasbio in R&D. Blacklisted from most genetic and lab work after the incident, took a fuckton of equipment when he left. Very disgruntled about the whole thing. Katy’s brother. Dark blond, bearded, tall, obsessively tidy. Also a long term Brony. 40 years old
Katy (Katherine) Gregory-
Qualified Fluffvet, veteran abuser. Used to work at Hasbio as an summer intern while she completed her graduate studies. Overlooked in the blacklisting. Still nearly as disgruntled about the incident as her brother. Five foot four, bleached blond shoulder length hair. Has been flirting with an sadly oblivious, constantly lamenting his single state George since they met nearly a year ago. 29 years old
George Dalton -
Scruffy beanpole of a ginger with the vocabulary of a seasoned sailor and a lifetime of customer service experience. Abuser, pillowing/ mutilation enthusiast. Helps out with the facility and mods for the same Forums as Dave does. Nerd, sci-fi and MMO enthusiast, plays Call of Cthulhu and Pathfinder with Dave, Shadow, and Kal. Oblivious as a damn brick. Was in the same elementary class as Dave for 6 years. 28 years old
Randy (Randall) Turner-
Bill’s sixteen year old godson, fledgling abuser with a bad work ethic. Part time at the facility- dark haired and skinny.
Jake-(Jakob) Moore-
Kal’s 17 year old nephew. Not the brightest or greatest co-worker. Means well enough, and does his job to the best of his ability. Would never intentionally go out of his way to abuse a fluffy, thinks some are even pretty cute… but really likes working here and not at retail.
Asher Damien Grey–
makes a living rounding up ferals and strays and selling them off to the sort of people who go through a lot of fluffies in a short time period. Has a 10 year old red heeler and a 12 year old merle border collie that do a lot of the job for him. White blond hair usually in a messy attempt at viking braids, tall, 27 years old. Has a panel van, but just for the fluffy transport- really, even if he inherited it from the uncle no one in the family talks about any more.
Genny (Genievieve) Lewis -
hugboxer highschooler, 17, dating Jakob, applied for the last available part-timer spot at the facility. Very enthusiastic about working around fluffies, and baby fluffies, and mummah fluffies…. Pink streaked brunette hair, not quite as short as Shadow. Almost certainly going to be put in charge of the Alicorn daycare if Shadow ever finds the time to finish the insurance forms for the added risk and decides to add to her workload.
The Demonfluffs of the Pack.
Both the boys are about the same size as a Shetland Sheepdog, Aurora more corgi sized and Foxfire pomeranian sized- (roughly the same size as normal fluffies).

Rook (1A)- charcoal grey fluff, raven blue-black mane, tail and wings, iridescent long spiral horn, and cloven deer hooves. Distinctly possessive of what he sees as his, desperate for Shadow’s approval, affection and attention. Understands he has to obey his human to get anything he wants, quite willing to work with that. Glory-(1B) ivory fluffed with blue mane and white wings tipped in blue and peacock eyes, an opalescent horn and cloven hooves. Hates being dirty, or ruffled, or not pretty things- or being called a mare. Likes stacking blocks to knock them down. Wants things to be quiet and ordered, his Pack to get along. Aurora- (1C) golden fluff and silver mane/ tail, gold banded silver wings, solid horse like hooves, gold horn. Half again as large as the boys. Wants desperately to be in charge of things. Bully. Wants to be princess- insofar as she thinks Chrysalis’s imitation of Cadence was the best princess ever. And that Glory is her only acceptable or pretty sibling. By far the best in a fight. Foxfire(1D)- smoke grey fluff with flame red/ orange mane and red scales. Half the size of the boys. Only one with claws or bat wings.Eternal optimist, the closest to actual fluffy in temperament. Wants friends, wants to play. Most agile and athletic of the group, most creative in entertaining herself. Capable of going from one to eleven before the humans notice she has a new idea. Sub note- Marnie- Pale Grey/silver fluffed earthie mare with jet black and pumpkin orange mane. Abandoned, spayed, domestic mare taken in by feral herd before they ended up at the facility. Terrified of the demonfluffs, hates the idea of eating other fluffies- when she’s reminded of it. Convinced, not without cause, that a single misstep will leave her eaten or tortured. Starting to be relatively fond of Foxfire (or that could just be the Stockholm syndrome setting in).

Pepper- dull brick red mare with darker mane. Very enthusiastic about mothering any babies in her reach. Former runaway turned feral, special friend was Holly (who Rook ate) Swiftly becoming Shadow’s go-to foster-mummah. Had 7 foals of her own in week 9.

Cotton candy- Pale pink unicorn mare, mint and purple striped mane
3 foals born week 9 salmon and baby pink wing filly, .Salmon and sun yellow earth colt, beige and blue pointy colt (litter is Taffy’s)
Margarita- Lime green unicorn mare, white mane (sister to Absinthe)
4 foals born week 9 green and purple/pink unicorn filly, green and red/blue earthy filly dust orange and dusty pink wing colt (walnut and teal/mint alicorn colt)
Absinthe- Swamp green earthie mare, black mane (sister to Margarita)
5 foals born week 11. Black and goldenrod mane filly, grey with pink striped mane earthy filly, grey and red/ mustard point colt, pale and darker greenwing filly, (pale grey/ white mane alicorn)
Bunny-Grey earthie mare, robin egg mane- -bred by Taffy due by week 14
Birch-White and orange unicorn mare- already bred by Cloud- due by week 12
Tansy-Pink and dark yellow earthy mare-whining constantly about the babies Asher took away- bred by Taffy, due week 14

Aster-Blue earthie mare, yellow mane; tried to bite Shadow on intake. Used to be a Smarty’s special friend. 6 foals born week 10 skyblue and yellow filly, skyblue and navy horn filly, purple and sky blue horn colt, skyblue and green colt, navy blue and purple filly, mint and blue colt
Hazard- Light orange and red mane earth mare- bred by Larkspur- due by week 14
Rose-neon green- and red unicorn mare- due week 12 by Warlock
Willow-Golden brown, sky blue mane mare- due week 13 with Druid’s litter
Grape-Chartreuse and purple unicorn mare- due week 12 by Warlock
Larkspur- Lavender pegasus stallion, purple mane- coward/ survivor
Warlock- Solid dark blue unicorn stallion- Druid’s brother
Druid-Green with brown mane stallion
Maple- Brown with red mane pegasi stallion
Mint- light green with yellow mane unicorn
*By feral, read more urban strays, runaways, abandoned fluffies and less actual wild fluffies. Asher isn’t going that far afield to get his stock. Which is why Shadow checks them for chips and obvious missing posts on the local shelter sites now.
Notes- Alicorn daycare idea to support the facility until the demonfluffs start producing sale litters is awaiting insurance paperwork- and extra staff, and Shadow not being overwhelmed with baby fluffies.
“Feeder” foals that turn out good enough will be sold as pets, the rest dumped back in as food for the Demonfluffs. kind of like breeding fancy rats/rabbits and large snakes at the same time.
