I started out on Reddit and I was there since the r/fluffyabuse days before community and I feel like itās my obligation to remain posting on there.
I probably expect more involvement here, my stories used to have a few meaningful comments but then those people left or donāt come as often onto the Reddit anymore.
Before the click, we had some people on there who loved the feeling of community but then felt drowned out.

Thatās honestly how I feel. I just want to be there and still posting for the people who are still there that supported me and talked and had fun with.
It was nice back in the days of the early community. We even had stuff from Emerald (who fucked with the community as ThatWelc can tell you) and you just donāt get that same reaction now.
There were a lot of guys who could post OC and talk about headcanons and go tongue in cheek and it was definitely a fun feeling. I donāt blame the mods or the click but weāve got a lot in the community who have one taste only

Funnily enough I had been lercking for a long time before participating, was the click that got me to actually post for the first time. Donāt know what that makes me.

the subreddit is fucking horrible. hugboxers posting dumb arguments on abuse posts 24/7 and the abusers are all edgy teenagers that canāt stand anything that isnāt a fluffy getting decapitated while being raped.

I always think that if you contribute and put your own stuff out there, you have a big say and you at least care to add to the community.
I honestly donāt blame the click, and the fandom needed more new blood to carry on and more new ideas coming in.
If anything, the click and the others whoāve covered the community have breathed new life into the community.
I feel like right now the sub is going through a phase where the camps have become more entrenched. The hugboxers vs abusers etc
It used to be jellenheimer OC people used to complain about back thenā¦honestly thereās more then enough content on the sub to enjoy it all without interfering with hugmas etc

If it helps, you donāt owe anyone anything, even supporters. Not unless theyāre paying you. You donāt have to keep going to a site you hate to please strangers on the internet.
It sucks to disappoint people, but thatās all. At worst theyāll be disappointed and then theyāll get over it. People donāt stay upset forever.

Adding to the Click discussion,
Thereās growing pains with newer fans joining but ultimately, I feel that The Click did good for the community. Yes, even if it meant the death of the booru.
The fluffy fandom was dying, or at least the fandom on the booru was. Even while being dead, it still had its fair share of assholes. It was a slow, empty, yet hostile environment.
Honestly the fandom seems more reasonable now, at least in a place with decent moderation. Thereās more works going now, and people are doing new things with fluffies instead of Lawn Invasion Leading to Pillowing The Smarty Plot #2234
If anyone gives you shit for joining because of the Click, they can go suck it, tbqh. Itās like those annoying Youtube comments who brag about knowing about a song before a popular game or show used it. Absolutely nobody cares. Only contribution matters, not the timing of when you joined.

Without The Click, thereās no new work and it becomes recycling of the same old work and the same old tropes.
I love JizzCoveredCrocs stuff and all the weirdbox. Thereās no way weād have gotten that in the old days.
The booru will always have a special place, but the fandom has to move on too. Itās sad to say but people will always move on and stop making stuff.
I do admit I think Iāve been lucky with my own stuff, most people who like text posts and stories tend to not be as reactionary as those who comment only on the strips, the art and videos.
